Last month (December 2025) , Codafication were pleased to announce a new partnership with Insurance Australia Group (IAG) to power its property claims with Crunchwork - our cloud-based platform designed to simplify complex workflows, connecting all stakeholders on a single system and replacing many manual parts of the claims lifecycle with automation and structured data.

This marks a significant step forward in IAG’s digital claims capability from start to finish, using Codafication’s locally built Crunchwork platform to manage the claims lifecycle for IAG’s extensive property claims supply chain.

“Suppliers, assessors and IAG teams alike will see the same real-time information – repair schedules, scope updates and progress milestones – creating a seamless customer journey,” said IAG EM of property fulfilment, Scott Lindsay.

Solving the “triangle of confusion” in property claims

Crunchwork was purpose-built to solve what Codafication founder and Managing Director, Daniel Sandaver, describes as the long-standing “triangle of confusion” between the customer, the insurer and the supply chain.

“After years in insurance claims, I noticed a lack of real-time visibility on claim status with suppliers, forcing teams to chase updates by phone or email, which slowed down the entire rebuild process,” he said.

In traditional claims, customers often don’t know who is responsible for what, while insurers and suppliers spend valuable time chasing information, re-keying data, and managing expectations across multiple channels. Crunchwork replaces that with a single, shared source of truth.

“With Crunchwork’s real-time information-sharing, the customer will know who’s responsible for which part of the claim and who to go to for clarification,” Sandaver said.

A control tower for the property repair supply chain

At the heart of IAG’s new operating model, Crunchwork acts as a control tower for the end-to-end property claim journey. From first notification of loss through to completion of repairs, the platform:

  • Automates workflows and task routing across insurers, assessors, and suppliers
  • Centralises documentation, scopes, approvals, and communications
  • Surfaces live status updates, repair schedules and key milestones in one place
  • Provides role-based views so each stakeholder sees what they need, when they need it

This control tower approach allows IAG to orchestrate its entire repair supply chain from a single, secure, cloud-based platform – rather than relying on emails, spreadsheets and disconnected tools.

“IAG can focus on improved system controls and consistent supplier management, providing the best possible experience for its clients while modernising its claims supply chain operating model,” Sandaver said.

Real-time visibility for customers, suppliers and IAG teams

For IAG, one of the key benefits of Crunchwork is the ability to give everyone consistent up-to-date information in live time.

As Scott Lindsay explains, this shared visibility is central to creating a more transparent and predictable claims experience:

“Suppliers, assessors and IAG teams alike will see the same real-time information – repair schedules, scope updates and progress milestones – creating a seamless customer journey.”

Instead of chasing phone calls or searching email threads, teams can log into Crunchwork and see:

  • Which supplier is allocated to the job
  • The current repair phase and estimated timelines
  • Any outstanding actions, variations, or approvals
  • Notes, photos, and documentation captured in the field

For customers, that translates into clearer expectations, fewer surprises, and a better understanding of who is doing what and when.

A configurable, cloud-based platform built for insurance supply chains

  • Crunchwork is a configurable, cloud-based platform designed to support complex, high-volume project and claims environments like property insurance. For IAG, that means the ability to:
  • Standardise and automate core workflows while still accommodating regional or portfolio variations
  • Manage a distributed supplier network with consistent controls and performance visibility
  • Integrate into existing systems, data sources and external suppliers, reducing friction across the claim process
  • Scale and evolve the operating model over time without extensive re-builds

Because Crunchwork is built as a flexible project and supply-chain platform, it can be tailored to reflect IAG’s specific processes, supplier structures and compliance requirements – while maintaining a unified, easy-to-use experience for teams on-site.

Modernising claims while keeping the customer at the centre

By selecting Codafication’s Crunchwork platform, IAG is investing in a claims model that is digital-first, data-driven and supply-chain aware, while keeping the customer experience at the centre.

For Codafication, it’s further validation of a vision born on the repair management front line: to remove manual friction, give everyone real-time visibility, and turn that old “triangle of confusion” into a connected ecosystem working together on behalf of the customer.
